“The Mpow 059 are average mixed usage headphones. They’re above-average comfortable, they have an efficient and easy-to-use control scheme and they don’t leak too much. Unfortunately, they do not block enough noise for commuting, they feel a little cheap, and they’re slightly too unstable for sports. However, sound-wise, they have a sufficiently adequate audio reproduction for most casual listeners, especially at their price range, although they won’t be ideal headphones for more critical listening. “

“The only group of individuals who may not like the Mpow 059 is audiophiles and perhaps those who prefer to stick to brand names. Other than that, the Mpow 059 is a great choice for an over-ear headphone. When you consider the price difference between premium brands of wireless headphones like Sony, Beats, Sennheiser, etc which can range between 5 – 10 times or more, the Mpow 059 starts to look like the better option. Granted, the premium brands do sound better but are they worth the extra cost? I’d say for the average consumer, no. If you like those brands or prefer superior audio quality, then you might not like the Mpow 059.”

“The Mpow M3 headphones are affordable and stream Bluetooth audio without issue. You also get passive listening using the included audio cable, which is a good deal for $40, even if the sound signature changes. We’re not in love with the audio performance, however—better sound signatures can be found in the same general price range. Consider the House of Marley Rebel BT and Creative Sound Blaster Jam, or the pricier JBL E45BT and Skullcandy Grind Wireless. They’re all Bluetooth models with plenty of boosting and sculpting, but most offer a bit more clarity in the high-mids in addition to the boosted lows.”
